Swati Anand Maheshwari: From Human Resources Professional to Impact-Driven Edupreneur
Swati Anand Maheshwari transformed a successful career in human resources into a purpose-led journey in phonics, grammar and education entrepreneurship. From beginning with two students to reaching more than 500 learners and mentoring women educators, her story reflects courage, professional reinvention and meaningful leadership.
Swati Anand Maheshwari’s journey demonstrates that professional reinvention does not always begin with certainty. Sometimes, it begins with the courage to follow a calling that has quietly remained in the background for years.
For nearly a decade, Swati built a stable career in HR recruitment. While she valued the experience and professional discipline developed through her corporate role, her deeper interest remained connected to teaching, education and the development of young learners.
Encouraged by her sister Sonal and inspired by Dr. Rakhi Laddha, Managing Director of Onboard Training Solutions, Swati made the decision to move beyond her established corporate path. She joined Onboard Training Solutions as a contributor, teacher, and phonics and grammar trainer.
Her teaching journey began in 2018 with just two students. After completing structured training, she started conducting classes with determination and enthusiasm. The early stage of this transition, however, soon coincided with the COVID-19 pandemic.
The uncertainty of that period made her question whether leaving a secure career had been the right decision. Yet the guidance of Dr. Rakhi Laddha and Mr. Pravin Laddha helped her remain committed to the direction she had chosen.
Swati adapted to online teaching and began with a batch of six students. That number gradually increased to thirty and then sixty. Today, she teaches more than 100 students annually, while her overall reach has expanded from two learners to more than 500 students.
Her work goes beyond academic instruction. She has developed a role as an edupreneur who combines teaching ability with mentorship, leadership and community development.
As mothers began observing positive changes in their children, several expressed an interest in learning and teaching themselves. Swati encouraged these women to undergo professional training and explore opportunities to become franchise owners with Onboard Training Solutions.
Through this effort, she has mentored and inspired approximately 10 to 12 women, including homemakers seeking to restart their professional journeys. By supporting their transition into education entrepreneurship, she has contributed to the development of learning centres and pathways toward financial independence.
Her achievements have received repeated recognition within Onboard Training Solutions. She was honoured with the Most Inspiring Contributor Award for 2023–24, Contributor of the Year for 2024–25, and the Most Inspiring Contributor Award for 2025–26. She has also consistently been among the organisation’s leading incentive earners.
Beyond these recognitions, Swati has received honours including the Bharat Ki Beti Award, Iconic Women 2025, Changemaker Award, Education Entrepreneur 2025, state-level teaching awards and certificates connected to education and women’s leadership.
What began as a small classroom has now developed into a wider mission involving education, confidence building and women-led entrepreneurship.
Her journey communicates an important message: it is never too late to begin a new professional chapter. With the right guidance, determination and belief in one’s abilities, a career transition can become a platform for wider social impact.
